Antel, Uruguay's leading telecommunications company and regional reference, digitalized its distribution management with a web platform that improves efficiency and enables multi-channel publishing.
ANTEL (National Telecommunications Administration) is Uruguay's leading state-owned telecommunications company. Founded in 1974, it has a monopoly on landline telephony and is the largest provider of internet and mobile telephony in Uruguay. Additionally, it offers data services, streaming television, and business solutions. Its infrastructure and technological development position it as one of the most advanced telecommunications companies in Latin America.
Within its structure, ANTEL has teams responsible for managing and distributing key information to different areas of the company.
The Challenge: Optimization of Broadcast Management
The teams in charge of internal information distribution at ANTEL manage the creation, review, and dissemination of relevant news for different sectors. Before implementing the new platform, this process presented opportunities for improvement in terms of organization, traceability, and automation:
To enhance the management of internal broadcasts, the following objectives were established for platform development:
✅ Implement centralized management of the broadcast lifecycle: creation, editing, review, and publication.
✅ Integrate the platform with existing systems, allowing publication across multiple channels.
✅ Improve traceability through reading metrics and impact reports.
✅ Develop a scalable and modular system based on modern technologies.
To solve these challenges, we developed a web application that completely digitalizes the management of commercial broadcasts.
🔹 Structured lifecycle management: The new platform allows for the creation, editing, review, and publication of broadcasts without the need for external files or emails.
🔹 Real-time collaboration: Authors and publishers can work on the same platform, facilitating the review and approval of broadcasts in an agile manner.
🔹 Multichannel distribution: The tool allows for automatically publishing broadcasts on various platforms used by commercial teams, including:
🔹 Advanced metrics and reports: The application provides key data about the impact of broadcasts, allowing measurement of:
📈 Workflow optimization: The digitalization of the process eliminated dependence on email and text files, improving organization and reducing errors.
📢 Greater reach and accessibility: Commercial teams receive broadcasts directly in their daily tools, which has increased the reading rate and reduced the need for manual searches.
📊 Data-driven decisions: The reports allow management to evaluate team performance and adjust communication strategies based on the results obtained.
🚀 Flexibility and integration: Thanks to its scalable architecture, the platform can expand and adapt to integrate with new tools in the future.
To ensure a robust, scalable, and high-performance system, we used the following technologies:
